Pressure Controls

Line Mounted Reliefs

HCV has a large range of Inline Relief Valves in both pilot operated and direct acting to suit capacities from low to 760LPM.  Manifolds are available in Aluminium or Cast Iron with a wide range of port locations and layouts. Pressure controllable from 25-6000psi with up to 26 different spring ranges available.

Soft Start Relief

These soft start relief valves ramp pressure up from a threshold pressure to the maximum set pressure over a fixed time period, which is slow enough to eliminate virtually all pressure spikes and overshoots. Available in capacities low to 760LPM.

Pump Mounted Relief Valves

These relief valves are designed to be mounted on Pumps (or Motors).  Available for pumps with Euro ports and also pumps which have Code 61 or 62 SAE flanges.  Capacities from low to 760LPM.  Relief cartridges can be direct acting, pilot operated or soft start.

Proportional Relief Valves

These valves behave like pilot operated relief except there setting is controlled by solenoid current.  More current equals more pressure.  They can be applied in system where varying pressure control is required by some electronic means, fan drives for example.  Available in capacities low to 760LPM.  Talk to HCV about your proportional requirement.

X-Line Relief (4 Port)

4 Port Cross Line Reliefs to limit pump pressure in a double acting circuit are available in 4 different capacities low to 400LPM.  Available in Aluminium and Cast Iron.

Motor Mounted X-Line

These 4 Port Cross Line Reliefs are designed to be mounted on conventional Hydraulic Motors.  Available to suit Danfoss, Ross, White and Char-Lynn brands, with Banjo Bolts or Pad Mounted configurations.

X-Line Reliefs (5 Port)

5 Port Cross Line Reliefs to protect cylinders from load induced spikes are available in 3 different capacities to cover shock loads from low to 200LPM.  Can also be used to protect and boost a hydraulic motor.

Transmission Flushing Valve

These valves are used for bleeding hot oil from the low pressure side of a hydrostatic transmission circuit. The hot oil can then be cooled, filtered or used as a source of oil for flushing other pump and/or motor cases. The hot oil (flushing) relief must be set below the charge pump relief to work.

Transmission Flushing with X-Line

These valves are used for bleeding hot oil from the low pressure side of a hydrostatic transmission circuit. The hot oil can then be cooled, filtered or used as a source of oil for flushing other pump and/or motor cases.  They also include a X-Line Relief to limit pressure spikes in the transmission circuit.
